Spotlight: Coconut Lime Verbena Beach Waves

Happy Monday!

We’ve been wanting to add a new section to the blog for a while now and today is finally the day! We thought it would be better for you to get an overview of our products from someone other than the two people who spend their days and nights making the products. Enter Megan. She’s been a long time friend and assistant and has way more style than I ever will, so twice a month she’ll be sharing her thoughts on one of our products. Along with that, we’re inviting everyone that has tried our products and a picture to show off the results to send them in! We’d love to feature your gorgeous self along with some words about what you think about the products :)

I will be the first to admit that I’m a total follower. When I see someone have cute clothes or a certain hairstyle I always want to try to replicate it best I can. So when the beach waves look came about, I felt like I tried everything to replicate it. But it took a lot of manipulating with hair spray, gels, and curling irons to get the look down. And even then it wasn’t really the same as I had seen it on other people.

Enter Gnarly Whale’s Coconut Lime Beach Waves spray. Instead of making my hair crusted over with lots of hair spray and scrunching, I can just spray this yummy product in my hair, add a little hairspray to make the curls stay, dry, and then spray again and TA-DA! I have a soft, curly, beach waves look that lasts all day. It doesn’t take nearly as much manipulation on my part as it used to plus it actually feels healthy and soft instead of crunchy and brittle.

I was also nervous that the beach waves wouldn’t work well with short hair after I got my hair cut. But it seems to work just as good and if anything has even more body than with longer hair.
