Spotlight: Manly Man Sugar Scrub

Happy Monday!

We thought it would be better for you to get an overview of our products from someone other than the two people who spend their days and nights making the products. Enter Megan. She’s been a long time friend and assistant and has way more style than I ever will, so twice a month she’ll be sharing her thoughts on one of our products. Along with that, we’re inviting everyone that has tried our products and a picture to show off the results to send them in! We’d love to feature your gorgeous self along with some words about what you think about the products :)

I got the Manly Man face scrub for my husband for Christmas and for a man who doesn’t really pay attention to grooming supplies, he has been really impressed!

Because it’s basically like pulling teeth to get him to write anything on a blog, I am going to relay his opinions here. :)

He said the first thing he noticed about the scrub is that the sugar wasn’t too rough or painful and dissolved easily. It was so gentle on his skin that he actually enjoyed using it often. Again, for someone who could care less about “beauty” products, this was a huge win.

He also really liked how it made his skin feel. My husband has really dry skin {really really} and has yet to find a good face wash/scrub that didn’t just dry it out even more. So he basically just doesn’t wash it. But since using the Manly Man face scrub his skin is softer, smoother, and overall has a healthier glow about it. I have noticed a difference in his skin just by looking at him. His pores are smaller and his skin tone is much more even. He really looks great! {Not that he didn’t before, but you know what I mean. :)}

Lastly, my husband told me that the scrub really did cater to his “manly man” self. It doesn’t have an overly strong scent or a flowery/fruity/”womanly” scent. It has a really nice, subtle cologne-like smell that makes him smell like a man without the rough & tough skin. And I must admit, I love the smell too! I mean…. it’s pretty hot! ;)

Overall, the Manly Man scrub was a major win! My husband is really happy with it and I am really happy to see him adopt a great skin routine. He looks great and I have never seen his skin healthier!
