I’m a terrible secret keeper when it comes to my own news. Anyone else’s secrets are locked away and sealed forever, but for some reason, I absolutely loathe keeping things about me from people. So when we were given not one, but two opportunities for our business and I had to keep it on the down-low (does anyone even say that anymore?) – I kind of hated it. I had zero interest in being all mysterious about it, but the things were SO big that I had to say something because they literally changed the course of our entire business and forced me to completely reconsider and reorganize my priorities.
But enough of that nonsense. Here I am babbling away, wasting time, when I could just be sharing the news with you. So here goes!
A couple of months ago, we were lucky enough to apply and be accepted to a wonderful group called The Artisan Group. Because of this, we were able to participate in an opportunity to participate in their gifting suite at the Cannes Film Festival! We are SO excited about what this could mean for our business in terms of press and potential future business. We’ll be sharing much more on this over the next few weeks over on The Gnarly Whale blog so be sure to follow us there, too!

A couple of weeks before our trip to Florida in December, we were contacted by Urban Outfitters to see if we would be willing to send them some of our top-selling products. We sent over the products and then spent the next few weeks (and our trip) anxiously waiting to see what would come from it. A couple of weeks later, we had signed on to sell our products both online and in stores with them! We’ll be mailing out our items this week and aren’t exactly sure where our products will be, but we are SO excited for this chapter of our business. It came with a huge learning curve and a lot of trial and error, but it has taught us so much about what we want for the business and how much we love it. If you happen to go to Urban Outfitters and see our products, snap a picture for us! We don’t have any around us and aren’t sure that they’ll be in the store by the time we’re traveling so we’d love to know where they end up. :)
